Business centre atrium, St Petersburg

A group of modular sofas for the large open atrium of a St Petersburg business centre, where visitors and staff wait, meet and pass through all day.
Fixed furniture struggles to fill a hall like this, so we built the seating from separate sections, each with its own frame and upholstery. The sections combine into straight runs, corners and islands, and the layout can change later without breaking the look.
Scope of supply
Seating that can be rearranged with the building.
Modularity was the key decision. A big hall is hard to fill with fixed pieces, while modules let the client arrange waiting areas as needed.
Sections can be moved, swapped or extended with new ones without breaking the overall composition.
According to the client, the sofas take the constant flow of people well: they do not sag, loosen or lose their neat look.
