Restaurant hall with curved booth sofas, a timber ceiling and a hanging fireplace
The brief

A restaurant and terrace for a bath complex in Moscow, where guests come in from the steam room and stay for hours. The hall needed sofas cut to the length of its walls, booths around the tables and somewhere to sit outdoors.

We made long sofas that run the length of the walls, booth sofas, table bases and garden swings for the terrace. The bases and swing frames were welded in our workshop in Bronnitsy, and the sofas were built to the size of the hall. The same contract covered lounge sofas and armchairs, VIP suite beds and reception furniture, each piece approved against the design studio's drawings.

How we did it

Furniture for steam, heat and long evenings.

A bath complex is hard on furniture: humidity, temperature swings and constant use. Near the wet zones we used heat-resistant adhesive and stainless steel hardware, because standard fittings fail there quickly.

Every piece was checked against the design studio's detailed sketches and specifications before production.

The factory worked two shifts to meet the opening date. Large frames were made knock-down to pass narrow doorways, and installation took five days with no trimming on site.

The curved, tufted upholstery in the VIP suites was done entirely by hand.
