Restaurant with printed upholstery, Moscow

Upholstered furniture for a restaurant whose designers drew their own pattern for the fabric. We printed it directly onto the upholstery so that colour and scale matched the drawings exactly.
The main hall got six large high-back sofas on powder-coated steel frames, four seats each, twelve deep armchairs and eight banquettes for the waiting area. Four half-armchairs for the bar use the same printed fabric with a stronger stain and moisture treatment, because drinks get spilled there every night.

Scope of supply
A designer's pattern, printed true to the drawing.
Printing went in two steps. The design studio approved a test sample first, then we ran the full batch, because any shift in colour or scale would show on large sofas.
The printed fabric got a protective treatment that keeps its texture, stops the pattern from fading and stays breathable.
Custom printing usually means at least a month. Here we ran cutting, sewing and frame assembly in parallel and shipped in 21 days.
Door openings were narrow, so part of the furniture travelled knocked down and was assembled on site in one night, without stopping the restaurant.
